Breaking the Fourth Wall is based around the idea of bands who only exist within the context of their movies/TV shows decide to break out of their movies (hence the title) and come together to put on a concert for their fans in real life. They are tired of being confined to a screen.

The requirements in choosing these bands were that they cannot have performed or produced music outside of their movie and are live action, not animated.

Josie & The Pussycats

Beginning originally as an animated music group, Josie and the Pussycats became a popular live action film in 2001. This spunky girl group is the leading act for Breaking the Fourth Wall.

Spinal Tap

Spinal tap is a parody band, spoofing British heavy metal groups. They starred in the film "This is Spinal Tap". Their hardcore sound brings an edge to our show.

Stillwater

Stillwater hails from the classic movie "Almost Famous." They are a collection of characters based on real life bands such as Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and The Eagles. Except they're totally exaggerated and much cooler.

Sex Bob-Omb

Sex Bob-omb is Scott Pilgrim's indie rock band from "Scott Pilgrim vs The World". Not widly popular nor terrible in their movie, but we have high hopes for what they'll bring to the real world.

Dr Teeth & The Electric Mayhem

Dr Teeth and the Electric Mayhem is the official band of "The Muppet Show." These Jim Henson puppets first debuted in 1975 and have been rocking ever since.

Mouse Rat

Mouse Rat (formerly Scarecrow Boat or Ninja Dick) is Andy Dwyer's band from hit TV show "Parks and Recreation". Best known for their performance at Lil' Sebastian's Memorial Service, they are okay and ready to play.
